JETCOOL Technologies is seeking a dedicated, dependable mechanical engineer to lead programs across our core markets. The position will be responsible for maintaining the development of hardware over its life cycle, including CAD design, prototyping, part fabrication, assembly, fluidic testing, and reporting. Successful candidates will be comfortable taking on tasks as an individual contributor as well as delegating to her/his team as required to meet project deadlines.

Responsibilities
- Apply design tools to invent next-generation cooling hardware
- Implement in-house prototyping tools to generate, evaluate, and select concepts
- Develop mechanical designs to achieve system interface and structural requirements
- Engage with external vendors to procure parts and hardware
- Set up and perform experiments to test new technologies
- Effectively document and communicate results
- Work closely with leadership to balance business development goals with engineering feasibility
Requirements
- Master’s level or similar background in thermal fluids engineering
- Ability to balance and prioritize multiple simultaneous projects
- Skilled in mechanical design and management of fabrication partners to deliver high quality parts on time
- Experience in thermofluidic experimental design
- Familiarity with thermal and structural finite element analysis (FEA)
- Demonstrated ability with hands-on builds/projects
- Ability to work independently and on small teams
- Solidworks proficiency
- U.S. Citizenship is required Bonus Points!
- Comfortable in a fast-paced, technology startup
- Industry experience in aerospace/defense, automotive, or data centers
